Curriculum Information
Our curriculum is designed to ensure that we offer a broad and balanced curriculum (in line with the National Curriculum), whilst maintaining the Eco, Harmony and sustainability links that we recognise are key to the Ashley community. Most of our foundation subjects are taught through the Learning Enquiry. Each Learning Enquiry is designed to be covered within a half-term, and is linked to a high-quality key text that the children will read and study in class.
We welcome any feedback regarding the information provided on the pages and documents below. If you have any questions regarding the curriculum, please speak to Mr Crinall in the first instance.

The information in our half-termly curriculum information document includes a synopsis of what is studied in English, Mathematics and RE, with an overview of how the other subjects are taught within the context of the Learning Enquiry for that half term. Information will also be included about the format of the Great Works that will celebrate all of the children’s learning within their Learning Enquiry. The content is not exhaustive and the sheets have been designed to give parents a flavour of the current curriculum, rather than specific details.
