Behaviour at Ashley

“To provide a happy, caring, Christian environment where our children develop independence and self -confidence whilst achieving their full potential.”

At Ashley School our behaviour policy is underpinned by our Christian values of: Joy, Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage and Honesty. Equality and inclusion are central to our school ethos and we seek to enforce this through value led assemblies and in PSHE lessons. We believe that children, staff and all members of the school community have the right to feel safe and be treated with respect at Ashley School. We believe that each child and adult is an individual and we endeavour to work in partnership with parents and carers to support our children to make good choices. We recognise that it is the duty of our whole school community to model and promote good behaviour. Children behave well when there is consistency in routines and when children feel valued and accepted.

The latest version of our behaviour policy may be found on our policies page here.

Behaviour policy consultation

Our behaviour policy is reviewed annually. On this occasion, we are re-writing our behaviour policy and it is subject to a consultation process.

Our new draft policy may be found here. The consultation runs from 8th - 28th February. Parents/Carers should give any feedback to their APP rep before the end of February.
