Ashley C of E Primary School

Welcome from our Head Teacher

Ashley is a large primary school for children aged between 4 and 11 (Reception to Year 6). From September 2021 we have three classes in each year group, with capacity for 630 pupils in the school. We benefit from a huge site which includes a large playing field and a Forest School, where children experience outdoor learning.

We aim to create a primary education that nurtures the whole child; mentally, physically and spiritually. We aim to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment in which your child can learn, and we aim to provide activities, tasks and challenges that enable your child to become a confident, independent thinker and learner.

Ashley is a community. Parents and carers play an important part in the life of our school and we work together to provide the very best education for your child.

Through our curriculum, we ensure that children understand sustainability and the Principles of Harmony. The aim in this learning process is that they start to realise their role in finding and leading on the solutions to the challenges we face. Underpinning this approach are the values of care and compassion, of respect and responsibility, of service.

We hope that you find everything you are looking for on our website. Please contact us if there is anything else.
