Whilst Ashley has been officially closed during the lockdown, children of key workers and some other children have been coming to school. School staff have been working either in school or from home, providing online learning for all pupils.
From June 2020 this changes.
We will open, in the first instance, for Reception pupils. Parents do not have to send their child to school and there will be no consequences if they choose not to.
A letter went to all parents/carers on 21st May with full details of our plan, which is child-centred and risk-assessed: Letter_Covid_210520.pdf
The plan is supported by a robust risk assessment, which has been quality assured by the Trust and underwritten by Surrey CC. The risk assessment is a live, dynamic document which may be viewed in real-time here.
