Ofsted have praised the school for its exciting, innovative curriculum and the way subjects are linked to extend learning. The curriculum of the school is broad, balanced and enquiry-based. This means that we plan the children’s learning around the enquiry for the half term and wherever possible, all subjects link to it. Great emphasis is also placed on planning the curriculum so that there is continuity and progression, challenge and pace.
A major part of the school’s curriculum is the National Curriculum which consists of:
Foundation Subjects: History, Geography, Design Technology, Art, Music and P.E.
We also include Personal, Social, Health Education and Citizenship in our curriculum.
