The weather was fine again for the 3rd annual FOA Fun Run event. With over 124 runners registered representing 50 families we actually had 118 runners on the day!
The competition was fierce in each race and the children appeared to love the challenge of the racing on a new course allowing for the new school-build. We saw a great influx of reception families which was great and in-fact produced our winning Dad – Chris Williams.
With gorgeous certificates for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed runner - created by dad Steve Gilligan - the new spacious and light hall was a great place for the presentation ceremony to round-off the event!

Infants: Adam Nesbitt and Zara Cope
Lower Juniors: Thomas Settle and Isabel Jenkins
Upper Juniors: Megan Beaney
Ladies 3K: Abi Riehl
Mens 3K: Chris Williams
Next year we need more year 5 and 6 runners and also mums …. the word on the field is – how about a relay race, create your team of 4 run a lap each …. that we we may see more participants!
