Rich Dance Festival
14 of our Year 5 and Year 6 children took part in the Rich Dance festival last Sunday at Hampton School. Rich Dance was set up about 10 years ago so that adults and children could enjoy and celebrate dance; it isn’t a competition. The performances took place in the 450 Hall at the school; the children were able to dance to an audience on a stage that had proper stage lighting and effects. They danced to ‘I love to Boogie’ and were very professional and focussed on the day. Well done to you all; you should be very proud of yourselves. A big thank you to Miss Lefevre and Ms Wood for spending time with the group after school to rehearse the dance, and accompanying them on the day.
